The Tampa Bay Lightning had lost five games in a row, and then lost the services of star winger Martin St. Louis at the morning skate when he was struck in the face with an errant puck. But that didn't stop them from serving up a gritty 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the Rangers Thursday night at The Garden. "We knew that, even with them losing Marty, they were not going to give up," said Brad Richards, who extended his point scoring streak to seven straight games with an assist on Ryan Callahan's goal in the first period. "If we could have buried a couple more with our power play we could have taken the life out of them, but we didn't. They hung around, and sometimes a team going through that adversity is tough to play against." Henrik Lundqvist, who finished with 29 saves, added, "We knew they would be desperate. It felt like we were the better team, but in the end we had several chances to kill the game, and instead allowed them to come back to tie it and win it."
