It was a long wait for the Rangers on Friday night, as their 2011-12 success meant they would not pick until No. 28 overall in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft in Pittsburgh. It was all worth it, however, when the Blueshirts selected a very promising American NHL prospect in defenseman Brady Skjei with their pick. The following day, they added three players, including Cristoval "Boo" Nieves, who was also on hand at the draft.
