Biron To Start

Martin Biron has been tabbed by head coach John Tortorella to start in goal Sunday night for the Rangers when they host the Winnipeg Jets at The Garden. It will mark Biron's third start of the season, and his second against the Jets, whom he helped defeat 2-1 back on October 24th in Winnipeg with a 27-save effort. Biron also started and earned the win in last Monday's 5-2 Garden victory over the San Jose Sharks, a game in which he made 24 saves. Henrik Lundqvist, who earned the win Saturday night against Montreal, and Biron have combined for a 2.18 team goals against average, the sixth-best figure in the NHL so far this season.
