There is Motivation

Though held off the scoresheet in the Rangers' most recent game Friday night against Carolina, Marian Gaborik has been extremely consistent and successful so far this season. Gaborik, whose nine goals are three shy of Phil Kessel's league-leading pace, has recorded at least one point in ten of the 15 games this season, and his 15 total points currently lead the Rangers. Following Tuesday's morning skate, head coach John Tortorella said of Gaborik, "Ever since I met him---and that was three years ago---he asked questions right away. Gaby is a smart guy, and he has always been engaged. And I think there is a motivation there (this year) where he wants to help this team get to the next level. He knows he has the ability, now it's a question of doing it consistently." Share your thoughts on Torts' assessment of Gaborik below. (NHL/Getty Images)
