Ice Block Challenge

On Monday morning, the Rangers held the first Playoff Faceoff -- Ice Block Challenge. A total of 20 two-person teams of Rangers fans assembled outside The Garden early in the morning to begin a two-hour quest for four different locations marked by Rangers Ice Blocks. Clues to the locations were given out via text messages to the participants' mobile devices.

The Scavenger Hunt concluded at the "Blueshirts on Broadway" event at Herald Square, where the first eight teams to finish the scavenger hunt took part in a series of Human Puck Races. Former Rangers Adam Graves and Stephane Matteau were on hand to congratulate all of the competitors.

First place in the event went to Peter Jensen and James Joyce, who won tickets to Monday's Game 2 vs. Washington. Second place went to the team of Matthew Fowley and David Soberman, who won signed Graves jerseys. Third place went to the team of Alex Wenke and Naiya Craig, who won sticks signed by Blueshirts defensemen Dan Girardi and Ryan McDonagh.
