Stralman Gets His Chance

Anton Stralman's debut with the Rangers was in no way, shape, nor form what he had hoped for, neither personally nor for the team. Stralman admittedly struggled with all facets of his game on November 23rd in a game the Rangers lost to the Florida Panthers 2-1 in one of their more flat performances of the season. Now a couple of weeks later, Stralman---who will take the injured Michael Sauer's spot on the Blueshirts blueline---will finally play his second game with the Rangers, and he believes he is much more prepared for this opportunity tonight against the Lightning. "It's been a couple more weeks to prepare from that last game, and in that game I felt like I was chasing the pace all night," explained Stralman, 27. "Hopefully these last couple of weeks have allowed me to improve my game and I'll feel more comfortable out there. Obviously everyone wants to play, but it's part of the game and the team has been winning, so I understand why they didn't want to change anything. You work hard at it to (when not playing), and when called upon you better be ready." Share your thoughts on Stralman's return to the lineup tonight below.
