Rangers-Lightning Preview

Thursday night at The Garden the Rangers (15-6-3, 33 pts) host the Tampa Bay Lightning (11-14-2, 24 pts) as the two teams square off for the second time in five days. Last Saturday the Rangers rode a three-goal third period to rally back from a 2-1 deficit in order to defeat the Lighting 4-2 down in Tampa, with Derek Stepan, Artem Anisimov, and Brad Richards all recording a goal and an assist apiece. The Rangers lost their following game, Monday, a 4-2 decision to the Maple Leafs, but have still won five of their last six, and 12 of their last 15 games. They will play tonight without Michael Sauer, who suffered a concussion in Monday night's game. Anton Stralman enters the Rangers' lineup to take Sauer's spot. Tampa Bay, which is expected to start Mathieu Garon in goal, has lost five in a row, and seven of its last nine games. Share your predictions on the game below.
