Mike Rupp, who has missed 17 games due to knee surgery, skated with his teammates at Wednesday's practice, albeit with an orange non-contact jersey. Though his knee is not quite ready for contact drills just yet, it is clear that Rupp is well on his way towards recovery, and a return to the lineup is not so far off. "It's good to be back out there with the guys, but I am still limited," explained Rupp. "I am not ready for contact, but I'm not far from battles. We'll see how the knee reacts tomorrow and the next day. It's about steps. It's all about moving forward, and this is a good sign for me, practicing with the team. Right now the team is playing great, with guys stepping up all over the place. It makes it, on one hand, difficult because you want to be a part of that, but right now I just want to be ready to contribute when I come back. I am just so excited about the direction of this team." Share your thoughts on this latest news regarding Rupp below.
