But, he needs to keep his hands to himself, his heart in his chest and his feelings for her under control. Zack is somewhat beholden to his biggest investor, a cross between Auntie Mame and Daddy Warbucks. I fell in love with Zack and Mina all over again! A lift is just what it says: The gentleman lifts the lady. I loved the passion for dance in this book! They both have cracks, little pieces that make them fit, and a connection that is too hard to resist. Approached to star in a Broadway musical, she has to take the chance. Okay so this one packed a punch.
Together, Zach and Mina are so passionate, and not just about dance, but about one another. And then the book veered a little in the end out of the easy contemp romance realm into a more rom-suspensy with a real soap opera moment that took a bit out of the story. The narrative got a little lengthy at places and I just skimmed it there. Also, the plot twist, in my opinion, felt completely unnecessary and out of place. While it does not get explicit, it may be triggering to some readers.
Well written and emotional and full of professional competence porn. It was almost like danc This one came out of nowhere and knocked me over! See beauty in every angle. Zachary Coen is a famous contemporary dancer and choreographer looking for the lead for his first Broadway show. The plot twist at the end left me a little perplexed but overall I enjoyed this story.
I know I say this a lot, but I swear I highlighted damn near half the book! The lead couple partner each other many times over the course of the work, but their opening pas de deux is particularly explosive, as Armand bursts in to the party and declares his love. A few lines will make you snort. Now I'm going to re-read Pas De Deux a dance for two again. I think the passion of dance makes it a compelling subject, and that same obsessive drive that fuels the characters' passion for dance pairs so well with passions of a different kind. I liked the twists and turns that occurred during this book.
Mina and Zach have settled as a couple and with their careers on the top, they try to adjust to their busy schedules. At the heart of this book is a stunning love story. I'm really excited to read more of this author's work and think she's a fab addition to interracial romance! Their journey together is so wonderful and Speical!!! Daniel Gaudiello principal artist, choreographer, and stunning exponent of the Don Q pas has been inspired to make a grand pas, Tristan and Isolde, in the style of Petipa for our upcoming season. I was sucked in immediately with the style of writing.
From the start, I have to say that I didn't connect either with Zack or Mina. In it's former space in, Salerno Gallery offered artists a prime street frontage exhibition space in the ever vibrant inner city suburb of Glebe, with a bright airy atmosphere and 24 hour exposure to Glebe Point Road, it provides a versatile space for artists and curators working with any medium of art for solo and group shows. And now you are in me, and I, in you. This was my first book by this author and I was blown away! And she is mourning the loss of a former partner and very good friend.
On a bad day because you know it will make you feel 1000 times better. The description of the dance scenes were as beautiful and intricate as the scorching hot sex scenes. Probably the most dangerous of these jumps is a leap of faith; this is the jump when the lady takes off and turns in the air so that she will land on her head if the gentleman does not catch her. Each of them had a hard life growing up, in their own ways … him as an orphan and her being a person of color trying to make it in the world of dance. The chemistry between Zack and Mina is hot and steamy. Photo Jim McFarlane Le Corsaire, pas de deux, Petipa In the wrong hands, a piece of overblown camp … and in the right hands, a piece of overblown camp that takes your breath away.
The details when you look closely take your breath away just as much when you step back and see the whole picture. This couple is too special to only experience once! Zack knows Mina is perfect for the role, but he is weary to have her on his team for fear that her status as an elite performer might come with an attitude and ego too big to handle. I enjoyed this one for sure. You're introduced to a lovely world. I just had a feeling that this book was going to be a truly amazing story that I had to have in my life. And, the passion was there tenfold.
