John Tortorella

Named the 34th head coach of the New York Rangers on February 23, 2009 and since then has led the Blueshirts to 145 victories, fifth most in franchise history.

Last season Torts guided the Rangers to the top regular season record in the Eastern Conference with 51 wins and 109 points, and just two victories shy of a Stanley Cup Finals appearance.

A finalist for the Jack Adams Award in 2012, Torts previously earned that trophy in 2004 after leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to its first Stanley Cup championship.
